Tonight is a special night. Tonight my cousin from America is coming over for dinner. I haven’t seen him in quite a while and I am really looking forward to it. He has been living in America for over 2 years and now he has moved back to New Zealand.

Today I played netball for my team the Mini Marshmallows. We lost big time. It was a very close game at the start but after the half time we lost it. The other team got alot of goals. I was quite disappointed because I would have liked to win this game but at least we were kind of close.

Hayleigh, my freind, stayed over last night. We had ALOT of fun laughing and giggling until about midnight when we finally fell asleep.  We were doing the 20 hour famine but we didn’t have any sponsors so it didn’t really matter that we ate dominoes for dinner and magills for afternoon tea. WHOOPS?

My Dancing.

Once a week I go to my Jazz Dancing with Mrs Foster. I also do Hip-Hop with her. I enjoy jazz a lot because I can just relax and have fun. Jazz is a bit more structural and we have to point our toes and we aren’t allowed to let our bottoms stick out, but with Hip-Hop we can just let loose and have fun. Hip-Hop is very bouncy and you make up a lot of your own poses for the end of our dances. For jazz we have special shoes that help us point our toes better and it helps us slide along the floor better. We can also wear our jazz shoes if we want for Hip-Hop. I have just started Hip-Hop and I am slowly getting it. I am in level 3 for Hip-Hop and level 4 for jazz. For jazz you have to do the splits which can hurt your legs. We also do mounts which is where you have to put your leg up beside you like you are a mountain. It really hurts but it is challenging which is very good. We put on a show at the end of every year. Last year for my Jazz our group were dancing cards. It is a great experience and gives you great strong muscles.Dancing Cats

I enjoy my dancing and I’m going to keep going with for a long time.

The Mount.

On Friday I went on the bus with Hayleigh to go and stay at her house for the night. We got to sleep at about Midnight and had to get up at 5.00!! We got up and got dressed ready to go to the Mount. We got to the mount at about 8.30 ish and went to a cafe for Breakfast-Lunch. We then went back to Hayleigh’s Dads house and put all our stuff away. Then we went to Bayfair. We bought some Ice-Creams and lots of shoes and clothes. We walked back to Hayleigh’s Dads house. We just hung around there for a while but then we went to Baywave which was alot of fun. We went on the hydroslide. We waited there for the wave pool to turn on. The wave pool came on every half an hour for 15 minutes. We went back to Hayleigh’s dads and then we ate pizza for dinner and went to bed. We watched American Pie: The wedding whiel we were in bed. Then we went to sleep. When we woke up , we decided we wanted to go to the pools again so we got our wet togs on and went back to the pools. We had lots of fun but then we had to go back to Te Awamutu. We got an Ice-Cream on the way home. It was lots and lots of fun.
